Newly assembled 1/4-ton jeeps just off the assembly line in the background. These jeeps were shipped in crates from the United States and assembled by men of the 724th Ordnance Company, 24th Division, Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. A three-man crew can assemble a jeep in approximately one hour.
